Here’s a lovely, well-preserved Fiat 850 Spider for sale. It was stored for some 40 years, which helps explain why it isn’t a rusty, crappy mess by now. Seller says it runs and drives nicely, but it still sat for four decades, so... maybe give the rubber bits a look, at least... Bidding is up to $3,650 so far with no reserve.

I had a 1968 Fiat 850 Spider, and it was a lot of fun. It was my first car, purchased when I was 16. They are very easy to wrench, but parts are a little hard to find.

You’d be better off with the Mirage. Man these things have depreciated.

They’re probably mostly in Italy, I imagine...

Much want! That little Spider looks in very nice shape and I imagine the things it does need are pretty minimal...some hoses, and the like and you’d be good to go!

Yeah... Too bad you live in a rust-prone area, I’d fear the little F iat wouldn’t last two weeks there :(

If I drove it year round, it wouldn’t last, no :
I’m planning to only drive the FIAT 126p I want to import in late spring, summer or fall on nice days :)
